Heavenly Covenant/Biblical Contract

Heavenly Covenant/Biblical Contract

Psalms 119:89-90

Regardless of what society believes about God and His Holy Word, scripture reveals that “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth” (Psalms 119:89-90). Through the Word and blood of Christ God has developed a covenant and contract with humanity. Because Christ is the offeror God is the owner and governs the terms of the covenant. “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant” (Psalms 25:14).

In contracts law, there are rules, which suggest that an integrated contract, one which illustrates the final expression of the intent of the parties, cannot be contradicted.  Evidence made prior to contemporaneous with the making of the contract is barred.  This type of evidence can only come in to the contract if it seeks to supplement the contract in a way that is consistent to the terms or in a way which shows that the contract was not integrated or to show there was illegality, fraud, mistake or lack of consideration, when the contract was made. Who can claim on any level that God is flawed?

The Bible is the first contract ever made.  It is a contract between man and God.  From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals the terms of His contract to humanity and after the last sentence of Revelation was penned, the contract became integrated.  Just as an integrated contract in man’s law cannot be contradicted, neither can God’s law.  No parol evidence can be admitted to contradict God’s law such as that which is claimed to be revealed to modern man through tongues.  God’s word is final.

Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristotle and other philosophers predate Christ.  Yet, they are revered and etched in the curriculums of institutions of higher learning by having their metaphysics taught and practiced on a continuum.  It amazing how these men and their philosophies can be respected as truth, yet the story of Christ and Him crucified can be relegated to a fictional prose. How has society, almost 2000 years after the death of Christ and the integration of the Bible, leaped so far away from believing in the Bible as the final Word?. Remember, You are the clay In The Potter’s Hands. God has paved a way to save you today!
