A God of New Beginnings

A God of New Beginnings

Genesis 3:21

The great God of heaven is one of new beginnings. Each new day, week, month, and year, the love and graciousness of God is in action, offering chances for new beginnings. When God offers the privilege of a new beginning, fresh start, renaissance, or rebirth, truly it should be capitalized upon.

Adam and Eve failed miserably in the Garden of Eden. In all of utopia, they ultimately had it all. They romanced, entreated, and lounged with each other in the most pristine of paradises. The presence of God was their comfort and peace, luxury was their surrounding wall, and delectable fruit and vegetation was their cuisine. The great Gihon River that streamed in and out of Ethiopia watered their produce.

Yet and still, Adam and Eve disobeyed their master and instantaneously stood in need of a new beginning. It did not matter if they had the same resources, opportunities, wealth, or relationship, intellectually and internally they begged for a second chance. God heard their disposition and cry and provided a new beginning.

In Genesis 3:21 the Bible records, “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Through this second chance, blood was shed to atone for the transgression in the garden. Everyday God offers a chance for new beginnings. His blood can cleanse all past sins, which can allow every human an opportunity to participate in godly devotion and communion.

When you dwell upon the past, and all mistakes and failures, rest assured that because of the grace of God, a new beginning can commence. Adam and Eve never returned to the great Garden of Eden, but they maintained a relationship with their Master.

God made you with the understanding that you would need a second chance and a new beginning. As you begin a physically new epoch, themes, and time of life, make your first priority a restored relationship and a crisp, serious, and committed new beginning with Christ. He made you for such an occasion and event. Remember, you are the clay In The Potter’s Hands. God has paved a way to liberate you today!
